RevLite™ SI Laser Tattoo Removal

Brought to you by the company behind the Picosure™, the Revlite™ SI is gold standard in Q-switched ND:Yag lasers.   Q Switch lasers are the most common type of tattoo removal lasers on the planet.  Laser tattoo removal occurs by emitting ultra short pulses of light, one-billionth of a second in length. This nanosecond pulse shatters unwanted pigment into particles small enough to be recognized and removed by your white blood cells and lymphatic system.  Each treatment lightens the tattoo further, and we use up to four different wavelengths to remove all the unwanted pigment from your skin.

RevLite™ SI Tattoo Removal Frequently Asked Questions

I Have Had Laser Treatments Elsewhere, Can I Continue My Removal With You?

Yes! It is important to find out what type of laser was used in your previous treatments, and we may need to wait a few months before we can start you on the RevLite SI

I Have a Brand New Tattoo I Am Not Happy With, Can You Remove It?

Yes, but we will need to wait for about 3 months so your tattoo is completely healed before we can start the removal process.

What Should I Do Before My Laser Treatment?

Wash, clean, and shave the area to be treated. Avoid oils, makeup, or lotions prior to your treatment. As with any body modification procedure we recommend you have something to eat at some point before your appointment. Wear loose/comfortable clothes. Ask questions!

Is there a fee for consultation?

No. Consultations are always free! Click the button below to set on up!

Aftercare – How Do I Take Care of My Tattoo Removal?

We will discuss and recommend aftercare procedures after your treatment and give you written aftercare instruction sheets. We also keep aftercare instructions online HERE.

Can I Remove Only A Part Of My Tattoo?

Yes! The RevLite SI offers many advantages over other lasers, including the ability to widen or tighten the optic beam for removing small details from any tattoo.

Will My Tattoo Be Completely Removed?

We cannot guarantee complete removal. The lack of regulations on ingredients in tattoo ink, variables in skin type and the quality of the tattoo make it difficult to make this promise. Some colors respond better to laser treatment than others. Some pigment may be left in the skin which the laser cannot reach. This is called ghosting. However, we suggest you take a look at our before and after photos. The RevLite SI is the gold standard of Q Switch ND: Yag lasers. This is the most common type of tattoo removal laser on the planet, and the RevLite is the most respected brand name.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Due to a number of variables, this question is difficult to answer. These variables include the location of the tattoo, your skin type, the quality of the tattoo and the type of pigments used, as well as your metabolism and following the aftercare instructions properly. Lightening a tattoo for an effective coverup may only take 2-3 treatments, depending on the amount of lightening we hope to achieve. Complete removal can take 10-12 treatments (or more or less, depending on your tattoo). Our laser techs can give a better estimate at your free consultation.

Does it Hurt?

Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. Some clients do not mind the sensation, others find it uncomfortable. We utilize a chiller machine to cool the skin before and during the procedure, which helps to minimize the discomfort. We also offer topical numbing for an additional fee. Fortunately the laser process is very quick, especially for small tattoos, so any discomfort you may feel will not last long.
