How we support the artist
We put 110% into our shop and our crew. We are involved in events all over the area, we sponsor locals organizations and are involved with charity fundraising, we attended over 25 tattoo conventions last year. We have regular out of state guest artists, and DEMAND cleanliness in our studios. The 717 crew has a team of support staff who handle a variety of responsibilities for them, from making sure the studios are well stocked, to booking, fielding incoming emails, managing our social networking, graphic design, web design, marketing and more.
Our Columbia studio has paid counter help 2 days a week. This means the tattooer can focus on tattooing and keeping their area clean. Counter covers phones, shop cleaning, greeting walk ins, and keeping the shop organized. We are also starting to implement a state of the art tattoo studio management software that streamlines all the ways in which we interact with clients. We are looking for an energetic, proactive person for our team. This is a crew, not a one man show, you have to be able to work with others.
